Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bodegon con flores y manzana by Zoma Baitler was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2001. The price achieved of GBP 1,292.50 (€ 2,086.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zoma Baitler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Parador Tajes, Uruguay , which sold at auction in September 2007 for EUR 4,750.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.292,50 (€ 2.086,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zoma Baitler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Parador Tajes, Uruguay beobachtet, die im September 2007 für EUR 4.750,00 versteigert wurde.
