Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Romantischer Streit. by A. R. Penck was sold in the German Post War | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 858.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by A. R. Penck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Welt Des Adlers I (World Of The Eagle I) in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 531,000.00 (€ 615,430.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Romantischer Streit. von A. R. Penck wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion German Post War | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 858,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von A. R. Penck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Welt Des Adlers I (World Of The Eagle I) im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 531.000,00 (€ 615.430,20).
