Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso, which included the work Branche d'amandier en fleur by Achille Laugé. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 138,600 (€ 162,819), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Achille Laugé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La route in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 809,000 (€ 948,068).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso durch, in der auch die Arbeit Branche d'amandier en fleur von Achille Laugé zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 138.600 (€ 162.819) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Achille Laugé auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La route im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 809.000 (€ 948.068).
