Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Self-Portrait Two Works by Andy Warhol was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 882,000.00 (€ 827,858.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
