This artwork by Antonio Bandeira achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2014. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Self Portrait sold for USD 43,750.00 (€ 32,074.78) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Bandeira achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ville in March this year with an auction result of USD 856,800.00 (€ 788,079.47).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Antonio Bandeira erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art wurde die Arbeit Self Portrait für USD 43.750,00 (€ 32.074,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Bandeira erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ville im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 856.800,00 (€ 788.079,47).
