The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,844.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Archie Forrest have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work Cote d'Azur was auctioned for GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,675.71).
