This artwork by Armand Guillaumin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in October this year. In the Prints & Multiples Online auction, the work Les rochers rouges, 1896 sold for EUR 1,088.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armand Guillaumin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chemin À Damiette in March 2014 with an auction result of EUR 325,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Armand Guillaumin erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online wurde die Arbeit Les rochers rouges, 1896 für EUR 1.088,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armand Guillaumin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chemin À Damiette im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 325.500,00.
