Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 3 Bll.: Homage to woman. Ohne Titel. by Badri Narayan was auctioned at Koller in June 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 840.00 (€ 683.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Badri Narayan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 52,908.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 3 Bll.: Homage to woman. Ohne Titel. von Badri Narayan kam im Juni 2013 bei Koller zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 840,00 (€ 683,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Badri Narayan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 52.908,17).
