In November 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Paesaggio by Carlo Mattioli. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 33,150.00 51% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carlo Mattioli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Spiaggia d'estate sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of EUR 38,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio von Carlo Mattioli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 33.150,00 und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Carlo Mattioli; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Spiaggia d'estate im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 38.000,00.
