Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seagram Building at Night by Ezra Stoller was sold in the PHOTOGRAPHIES COLLECTION D'UN AMATEUR auction at Christies in Paris in November 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,115.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ezra Stoller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Miami Parking Garage, 1948 in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,903.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seagram Building at Night von Ezra Stoller wurde im November 2002 in der Auktion PHOTOGRAPHIES COLLECTION D'UN AMATEUR bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.115,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ezra Stoller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Miami Parking Garage, 1948 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.903,95).
