Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Mujer, México by Flor Garduño was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,137.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Flor Garduño have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Witnesses Of Time' in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,980.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Mujer, México von Flor Garduño wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.137,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Flor Garduño auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Witnesses Of Time' im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.980,62).
