It achieved a price of EUR 875.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46 %. Admittedly, works by Gerhard Fietz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bild 1950/46 in October 2010 with an auction result of EUR 7,930.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gerhard Fietz wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Frühjahrsauktionen 2016 - Third Floor. Schätzwerte bis EUR 3.000 bei Grisebach versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 875,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerhard Fietz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bild 1950/46 im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.930,00.
