Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work All Over by Gerhard Merz was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,468.66). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerhard Merz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit All Over von Gerhard Merz kam im September 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.468,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerhard Merz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
