Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Gucci Spring/Summer by Graham Little for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,751.34). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary ArtDay Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Graham Little have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 35,623.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Gucci Spring/Summer von Graham Little für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.751,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary ArtDay Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Graham Little auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 35.623,41).
