Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Gregory Crewdson was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 22,860.00 (€ 21,631.34) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gregory Crewdson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dream House Portfolio in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 169,000.00 (€ 115,059.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gregory Crewdson kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 22.860,00 (€ 21.631,34) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gregory Crewdson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dream House Portfolio im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 169.000,00 (€ 115.059,91).
