Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Green Shade by Xiao Rusong was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 531,000.00 (€ 62,034.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Rusong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life by The Window, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Green Shade von Xiao Rusong wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 531.000,00 (€ 62.034,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life by The Window beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94) versteigert wurde.
