Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Early Spring by Xiao Rusong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 53,485.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Rusong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life by The Window, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Early Spring von Xiao Rusong kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 53.485,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life by The Window beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94) versteigert wurde.
