Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper, which included the work Reading Girl by Xiao Rusong. The price achieved of HKD 920,400.00 (€ 107,527.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 780,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Other works by Xiao Rusong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Still Life by The Window was auctioned for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reading Girl von Xiao Rusong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 920.400,00 (€ 107.527,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 780.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Still Life by The Window für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94) versteigert.
