Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2018 POLY held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Summer by Xiao Rusong. The price achieved of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 36,360.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 260,000.00 – 380,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xiao Rusong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life by The Window in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2018 führte POLY die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Summer von Xiao Rusong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 36.360,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 260.000,00 – 380.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life by The Window im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94).
