A top price for Xiao Rusong
This artwork by Xiao Rusong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Still Life by The Window sold for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 650,000.00. This high result makes Still Life by The Window the most expensive artwork by Xiao Rusong that we have observed at auctions so far.
