The work Red Flowers In Spring by Xiao Rusong was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,147.65) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Rusong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life by The Window in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).

Die Arbeit Red Flowers In Spring von Xiao Rusong wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.147,65) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life by The Window im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94).
