Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The North Gate by Xiao Rusong was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 478,800.00 (€ 56,184.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Rusong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life by The Window, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The North Gate von Xiao Rusong wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 478.800,00 (€ 56.184,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life by The Window beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94) versteigert wurde.
