Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Feifeng Mountain And Dahu Village (Set Of Two Pieces)(Painted In 1989) by Xiao Rusong was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,092.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Rusong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life by The Window in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).

Die Arbeit Feifeng Mountain And Dahu Village (Set Of Two Pieces)(Painted In 1989) von Xiao Rusong wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.092,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong erzielen.
