Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ivan Morley could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Phillips x Artsy Summer School auction, the work Scar Score changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,684.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Morley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A True Tale in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,930.64).
