Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Arizona #17 by Jennifer Bartlett. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,360.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jennifer Bartlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four A.M. in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 235,447.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arizona #17 von Jennifer Bartlett zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.300,00 (€ 14.360,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Bartlett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four A.M. im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 235.447,13).
