Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Figure by Joan Miró was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,657.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Figure von Joan Miró wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 182.500,00 (€ 135.657,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
