Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Coq De Bruyère by Joan Miró was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,457.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
