Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included the work Sharing In Orange by Julian Stanczak. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,001.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julian Stanczak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Undulating Currents, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 98,986.38).
