Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La tireuse de cartes by María Blanchard was sold in the Impressionist / Modern Day Sale auction at Christies in London in February 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 133,250.00 (€ 159,104.03). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by María Blanchard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Joueur De Luth, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 457,250.00 (€ 566,184.36).

Die Arbeit La tireuse de cartes von María Blanchard wurde im Februar 2012 in der Auktion Impressionist / Modern Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 133.250,00 (€ 159.104,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von María Blanchard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Joueur De Luth beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für GBP 457.250,00 (€ 566.184,36) versteigert wurde.
