This artwork by Martín Chirino achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2019. In the First Open | Online auction, the work Homenaje. Serie Marinetti IV. Lectura del Viento. (Homage. Marinetti Series IV. Wind Reading.) sold for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 87,246.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martín Chirino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El Viento, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 226,800.00.

Lectura del Viento. (Homage. Marinetti Series IV. Wind Reading.) für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 87.246,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Martín Chirino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit El Viento beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 226.800,00 versteigert wurde.
