This artwork by Maxime Maufra achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March this year. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Printemps - Champigny-sur-Marne sold for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 31,536.85) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maxime Maufra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Vent in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 266,500.00 (€ 198,097.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Maxime Maufra erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Printemps - Champigny-sur-Marne für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 31.536,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maxime Maufra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Vent im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 266.500,00 (€ 198.097,08).
