This work without title by Michel Majerus was auctioned at Christies in London in June last year. It achieved a price of GBP 403,200.00 (€ 468,403.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Michel Majerus; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot nothing is permanent sold at auction in September 2021 with the realized price of USD 600,800.00 (€ 518,960.01).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 403.200,00 (€ 468.403,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Michel Majerus; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit nothing is permanent im September 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 600.800,00 (€ 518.960,01).
