The work Portrait Mode by Nina Beier was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in June 2013. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,097.43), 38% above the upper estimate. With this result, Portrait Mode is even the most expensive work of art by Nina Beier that we have observed at auctions so far.
