Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nobuyoshi Araki could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Boundless: Contemporary Art auction, the work Koki No Shashin: Dita Von Teese changed hands for HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,259.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 28,000.00 – 38,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuyoshi Araki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From Close to Range in April 2014 with an auction result of USD 191,000.00 (€ 137,707.28).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nobuyoshi Araki konnte im Januar 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Koki No Shashin: Dita Von Teese für HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.259,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 28.000,00 – 38.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nobuyoshi Araki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit From Close to Range im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 191.000,00 (€ 137.707,28).
