Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Philippe Parreno could be acquired at VAN HAM in June 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the ACHENBACH Art Auction auction, the work Objects Fun (11 Arbeiten) changed hands for EUR 669.00 - failing to meet the pre-set estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philippe Parreno achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Room is Another Fish Bowl in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 516,500.00 (€ 434,106.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philippe Parreno konnte im Juni 2015 bei VAN HAM für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion ACHENBACH Art Auction wechselte die Arbeit Objects Fun (11 Arbeiten) für EUR 669,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philippe Parreno erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Room is Another Fish Bowl im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 516.500,00 (€ 434.106,57).
