Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints & Multiples Online, which included the work Lithographie n°10, 1963 by Pierre Soulages. The price achieved of EUR 11,520.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Soulages achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture 195 x 130 cm, 4 août 1961 in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 20,141,700.00 (€ 17,845,042.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lithographie n°10, 1963 von Pierre Soulages zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.520,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Soulages erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture 195 x 130 cm, 4 août 1961 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.141.700,00 (€ 17.845.042,97).
