Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TwentiethCentury Art, which included the work Fiets tegen tuinmuur - Bicycle against wall by Roger Raveel. The auction ended at the price of EUR 5,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Raveel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Belgian Kar in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 53,050.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TwentiethCentury Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fiets tegen tuinmuur - Bicycle against wall von Roger Raveel zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Raveel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Belgian Kar im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 53.050,00.
