Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Christies in New York held the auction 20th Century Evening Sale, which included the work Uitzicht over Den Haag met de Nieuwe Kerk (View of The Hague with Nieuwe Kerk) by Vincent van Gogh. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,050,000.00 (€ 901,519.70). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vincent van Gogh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verger avec cyprès in November last year with an auction result of USD 117,180,000.00 (€ 113,513,513.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 20th Century Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Uitzicht over Den Haag met de Nieuwe Kerk (View of The Hague with Nieuwe Kerk) von Vincent van Gogh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.050.000,00 (€ 901.519,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vincent van Gogh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verger avec cyprès im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 117.180.000,00 (€ 113.513.513,51).
