Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Little Thinker by Nara Yoshitomo was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 4,220,000.00 (€ 3,829,748.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,500,000.00 – 4,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nara Yoshitomo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Knife Behind Back in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 195,969,000.00 (€ 22,398,966.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Little Thinker von Nara Yoshitomo kam im November 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.220.000,00 (€ 3.829.748,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.500.000,00 – 4.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nara Yoshitomo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Knife Behind Back im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 195.969.000,00 (€ 22.398.966,83).
