Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self Portrait by Zachary Armstrong was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,679.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zachary Armstrong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,191.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self Portrait von Zachary Armstrong wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.679,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zachary Armstrong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.191,74) versteigert wurde.
