This artwork by Aboudia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June this year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 65,520.00 (€ 76,254.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aboudia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July last year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 601,865.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aboudia erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 65.520,00 (€ 76.254,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aboudia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 601.865,52).
