However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ad Reinhardt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstract Painting, Blue, 1953, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 4,981,000.00 (€ 4,004,663.13).
