The work Frigga Trigger; Beantown Swinger; Untitled (Happy Birthday Dick Tyler Bichy...) Three Works by Al Hansen was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 69,300.00 (€ 65,045.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Al Hansen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Charlotte Moorman Came Out From Behind Her Cello and Danced All Night, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 187,500.00 (€ 170,160.63).
