This artwork by Albert André achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2018. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Place Pigalle, Pluie sold for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,003.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert André - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nature Morte Et Statue, which sold at auction in March 2013 for USD 137,500.00 (€ 107,287.77).

In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Place Pigalle, Pluie für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.003,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert André mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nature Morte Et Statue beobachtet, die im März 2013 für USD 137.500,00 (€ 107.287,77) versteigert wurde.
