In February 2003 Christies in London held the auction POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY, which included the work Ononimo (Homonymous) by Alighiero Boetti. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,730.00 (€ 24,425.27), 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alighiero Boetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutto in November last year with an auction result of USD 6,060,000.00 (€ 5,870,386.52).

Im Februar 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ononimo (Homonymous) von Alighiero Boetti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.730,00 (€ 24.425,27) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alighiero Boetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutto im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.060.000,00 (€ 5.870.386,52).
