Sold at the lower estimate price
The work "Fragments of Venus" by Arman was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. The result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,446.59) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accord Majeur, 1962 in January 2008 with an auction result of EUR 371,760.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Fragments of Venus" von Arman wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.446,59) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accord Majeur, 1962 im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 371.760,00.
