Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern Evening Auction, which included the work Figura bajo un uvero by Armando Reverón. Here, the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 378,000.00 (€ 334,898.56). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armando Reverón - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Desnudo Detrás De La Mantilla, which sold at auction in May 2012 for USD 872,500.00 (€ 705,677.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figura bajo un uvero von Armando Reverón zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 378.000,00 (€ 334.898,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Armando Reverón mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Desnudo Detrás De La Mantilla beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für USD 872.500,00 (€ 705.677,77) versteigert wurde.
