Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Puerto Cerca De La Guaira by Armando Reverón. The price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,394.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Armando Reverón have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Desnudo Detrás De La Mantilla in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 872,500.00 (€ 705,677.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Puerto Cerca De La Guaira von Armando Reverón zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 110.394,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armando Reverón auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Desnudo Detrás De La Mantilla im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 872.500,00 (€ 705.677,77).
