Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Etchings to Rexroth by Brice Marden was auctioned at Christies in New York in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 88,200.00 (€ 79,891.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brice Marden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 11 (to Léger) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 16,999,000.00 (€ 15,060,689.29).
