The work Untitled (Crossbeams) by Bruce Nauman was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 44,450.00 (€ 50,570.46), 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruce Nauman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Life, Death, Love, Hate, Pleasure, Pain in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 8,996,400.00 (€ 7,377,726.75).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Crossbeams) von Bruce Nauman wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 44.450,00 (€ 50.570,46) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruce Nauman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Life, Death, Love, Hate, Pleasure, Pain im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.996.400,00 (€ 7.377.726,75).
